Responsibilities

  • Consolidate and develop the company’s presence in the Japanese market, where we are already active.
  • Manage and maintain regular contact with existing clients and prospects in Japan.
  • Collaborate closely with our local agent to coordinate commercial actions.
  • Organize and participate in virtual meetings and calls with Japanese partners.
  • Expand the distribution network in Japan by identifying new business opportunities.
  • Ensure administrative and commercial follow-up: reporting, sales forecasts, strategic analyses, monthly reviews, etc.

 

Required Skills and Experience

  • You are based in Belgium and are willing to travel occasionally to Japan if needed.
  • You have proven experience in a commercial role or in managing client relationships.
  • You possess an in-depth understanding of the cultural and commercial specificities of the Japanese market.
  • You demonstrate strong responsibility, negotiation skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
  • You are autonomous, methodical, and well-organized.
  • You are enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, and an excellent communicator.
  • You have fluent command of Japanese and English (knowledge of French is an asset).
  • You have a neat and professional appearance.
