• ¿Cómo intentar eliminar las manchas difíciles del revestimiento BEALSTONE®?

    Cuando aparecen manchas persistentes en una superficie —y, en particular, en el revestimiento BEALSTONE®—, se puede recurrir a un sistema de absorción por capilaridad.

    Tras haber intentado previamente limpiar la mancha con un cepillo suave y agua jabonosa, proceda de la siguiente manera:

    • Humedezca la mancha con agua tibia durante al menos 10 minutos.
    • Eliminar el agua de la superficie.
    • Volver a humedecer la zona afectada.
    • Aplicar varias hojas de papel absorbente, superpuestas una a una, bien planas sobre la mancha, sobresaliendo unos 10 cm por todos los lados. Según sea necesario, pueden ser necesarias entre 10 y 20 hojas.
    • Humedezca todas las capas de papel y elimine el aire para garantizar un contacto perfecto entre las hojas y el soporte.
    • Deje secar de forma natural, sin intervenir y sin crear corrientes de aire.
    • Durante el secado en superficie, los poros del papel se liberan; los capilares generan entonces una succión que tiende a extraer la suciedad del soporte y a transferirla al papel absorbente.
    • Retirar las hojas una vez que estén completamente secas.
    • Observar el resultado obtenido.
    • Repetir la operación si es necesario.

    Atención: si la mancha proviene de una pequeña cavidad abierta en el material mineral BEALSTONE® y la protección no ha impregnado dicha cavidad, la eficacia del proceso será limitada. La succión se concentrará únicamente en esa zona localizada y no en el conjunto de la mancha.

    No obstante, la operación puede repetirse si es necesario.
