Digital/CNC Workshop Operator

With a constant focus on product implementation, monitoring, quality, continuous improvement and customer relations, we provide training in the use of our products at our training centres and at our partner distributors.
Play an active role in creating new innovative products using our materials such as MORTEX® and BEALSTONE®. In this high-potential role, you will be trained in the use of our latest-generation CNC equipment and will become the technical expert in our digital workshop.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and programme CNC machines (turning, milling, 3 axes or more) based on technical drawings or 2D/3D models.
- Analyse technical drawings or digital models to understand the geometric and functional specifications of the parts to be produced.
- Create, adapt and optimise machining programmes directly on the machine or via CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software.
- Select the appropriate cutting tools, adjust the cutting parameters and ensure the accuracy of operations.
- Ensure the manufacture of parts, ensuring dimensional conformity and compliance with tolerances.
- Carry out quality checks during and at the end of machining (using measuring instruments, visual inspection, etc.).
- Carry out first-level maintenance on CNC equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of machining processes (reduction of cycle times, material optimisation, etc.).
Required skills and experience:
- Technical training in mechanics, machining or industrial production (vocational diploma, BTS, DUT or equivalent).
- Proficiency in CNC programming, with experience in numerical control.
- Ability to visualise and interpret technical objects spatially from plans or digital models.
- Experience in 2D/3D design, ideally with software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA or Inventor.
- Good understanding of the principles of mechanical manufacturing, machining and dimensional tolerances.
- Experience in 3D printing or using 3D machines is appreciated.
- Rigorous, independent, observant and analytical.
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other departments (quality, design office, production).
