Context:

Beal International, a Belgian family-owned company specialising in the design and manufacture of coatings and technical solutions for the construction and decoration industries (MORTEX®, BEALSTONE®, CAPILASIL®), is looking for a French/Dutch-speaking Business Developer to strengthen its international sales team. Based at our headquarters in Fernelmont, you will be the ambassador of our brands and the values the company stands for.

The Role:

This is a hybrid role combining office days at our Fernelmont headquarters with field days spent meeting prospects and clients: architects, designers, construction professionals, distributors, and more. Occasional travel abroad is expected when required, particularly to attend trade fairs or meet with prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and consolidate our international commercial presence by identifying and seizing new business opportunities.
• Manage and maintain regular contact with existing clients and prospects (architects, designers, construction professionals, distributors, etc.). Ensure consistent follow-up of client and prospect files.
• Actively prospect within the assigned market 
• Provide reliable technical guidance in line with best practices and the knowledge gained through internal training programmes.
• Handle administrative and commercial reporting: weekly and monthly reports, sales forecasts, strategic analyses, and participation in international sales meetings.

Required Skills & Experience:

• You are fully bilingual in French and Dutch, both spoken and written. This is an essential requirement. A strong command of English is a significant asset. 
• You ideally have a proven track record in technical product sales, preferably within the construction sector.
• You demonstrate strong organisational skills, a methodical approach, and the ability to work independently.
• You have a genuine aptitude for technical matters and a drive to build deep expertise in our product range.
• You possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, and a results-driven mindset.
• You present a polished and professional image.
