A unique space, surrounded by warmth and softness

For its Nantes store, which will open in 2019, the organic cosmetics brand AVRIL chose the MORTEX® flooring on the advice of its interior designer.

Used on the floor in a very light color, halfway between gray, white and pink, the MORTEX® flooring fits perfectly into a sober, refined and resolutely “cocoon” atmosphere. The entire decoration chosen for this boutique is in fact in line with a natural and warm style with materials that are almost “organic”, such as wood. Harmonious lines as well as soft and subtle colors were favored for this unique space, located in a gallery dating from the 19th century and classified as a historical monument.

A hint of light

Thanks to its very light color, the floor designed with the MORTEX® coating illuminates the whole room. Its almost white color contrasts with the brown tones of the oak used for the furniture, the pinkish hue of the walls and the imposing “Terre de Sienne” color curtain. The whole gives a warm atmosphere, between simplicity and modernity. The different product lines stand out perfectly in this decor and attract the eye with their bright and varied colors.

A material as technical as it is aesthetic

The MORTEX® range was also chosen to create a large basin in a gray tone. Thanks to its waterproofing in the mass, it was perfectly suited to design a basin that is as resistant as it is aesthetic.

As Avril Cosmétiques is a committed and organic brand, their specifications for the design of their stores are very strict. The MORTEX® range corresponds perfectly to their requirements since it respects strict criteria concerning VOCs.
